How RME Solves Unprecedented Problems
RME is sometimes tasked with projects that do not fit a specific classification. We are uniquely qualified to handle these projects because of our broad range of experience and education. One example of such a project is when RME was tasked by a major manufacturer of roof ventilation systems to conduct an independent product effectiveness evaluation. RME designed a before-and-after system installation investigation plan that included:
- measurement of the attic space ambient air temperature;
- measurement of roof deck, HVAC dust, and interior surface temperatures;
- collection of government measured solar heat load data;
- collection of electricity usage data;
- scientific literature review
RME's analysis proved that the manufacturers performed as stated in their marketing literature.
